Join Kari and friends in this get-down-to-business, club style AB workout. Designed for both men and women, all part of the abs are targeted as well as the back muscles for a well balanced, effective yet fun approach to belly-baring fitness. This is a no-nonsense workout that will give you great results.
You'll perform a variety of exercises in this non-stop 20 minute challenging
program. The moves are proven classics: a blend of Pilates and traditional abdominal
toning - but the feel is different. Kari makes it interesting with tempo changes,
tension-releasing stretches and varied sequencing (e.g. an isolated curl becomes
a multiple-muscle core-body exercise followed by a faster-paced bicycle crunch).
As always, Kari's cuing and technique is excellent. After meticulously demonstrating
each move, she'll walk among the class inspiring proper form (e.g. "don't let
that back arch"). Kari provides short breaks between the exercises and finishes
up with good back exercises and a nice stretch.

and 16 years of Ballet and Dance Training, Internationally renowned Fitness
Instructor and mother of three, Kari Anderson is today the creator of over 18
award winning videos and the owner/director of five Pro-Robics Conditioning
Clubs. Her perspective and talent for fitness training and choreography development
are unparalleled in the fitness industry.
In addition to teaching capacity classes for over 16 years, she presents workouts
and instructor training workshops internationally. Kari has an extensive background
in dance, athletics, and weight training including being a National Gold Medalist
in Synchronized Swimming and a scholarship student with the Joffrey Ballet.
Certified by both ACE and AFAA, she has been named Best Aerobics Instructor
in the Northwest and received the 1994 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year award.
