dances and rhythms of Brazil: Samba, Samba-Reggae, African, Axe', Frevo and

Workout? From the great warm-up routine to the cool down session, the
surprisingly easy-to-follow, colorful shakes and moves create an exhilarating
dance and exercise experience.
Vanessa Isaac, a resident of Santa Barbara, California, is an acclaimed
Brazilian dancer, actress, singer and instructor, as well as the co-producer
and co-director of Hip Brazil, a music and dance performance group. In addition,
Vanessa and her husband Randy Tico have formed the production company Hip Enterprises
and produced many Brazilian DVDs with the objective of sharing the beauty and
energy of Brazilian culture with the world.
Ms. Isaac began her career as an actress in the Brazilian theater productions
''A Vida Como Ela E'' and ''Obvio Ululante''. During this time, she studied
Dramatic Art at the Center Cultural Martin Cerere. She has a degree in journalism
and has taught for three years at UCSB in Santa Barbara, where she also worked
with The City College Theater Group and The Ensemble Theater Company.
She currently teaches dance and fitness classes at the Ginga Multicultural
Arts Center, which she co-founded, and has been nominated for a Brazilian International
Press Award for her innovative contributions to the world of dance, health and
fitness. To date, she has been a guest on CNN Headline News, has appeared in
numerous dance, health and fitness publications, and continues to bring her
love for Brazilian culture to the world.
