About
Jari Love: A competitive runner since her teens, health and fitness has
always been central to Jari Love, which led to her becoming a personal trainer.
However, with increasing responsibilities over time she had fewer hours to devote
to training, so she used her knowledge of physiology to create her own training
paradigm, customized for a busy parent and business person whose goal was to
maintain peak fitness.
Jari based her program on periodization and progression - two elements missing
from most current exercise approaches. Get Ripped! is based on the training
methods of elite athletes, current research, and her own experience. The workout
incorporates progression of intensity that offsets the body's normal adaptation
response to exercise.
