Total Yoga: Fire is the most advanced session in the Flow Series. Taught by Ganga White and Tracey Rich, internationally renowned yoga teachers and founders of the White Lotus Foundation, Fire teaches over thirty poses and is designed for more experienced practitioners who are looking for a way to make their yoga practice more challenging without losing the essence of the yoga experience.

This dynamic session involves a higher level of aerobic activity than any of the other session DVDs, teaching three types of sun salutations to warm up, as well as seven major standing poses.

It also includes backbends, forward bends, twists and tonic inversion poses. By combining both classical and contemporary postures, students will achieve a high level of endurance, refinement, muscle tone, strength and flexibilty from this dynamic and rigorous workout.

Ganga White and Tracey RichGanga White is president of the White Lotus Foundation and is recognized as one of the outstanding teachers and exponents of Yoga. He founded the nationally renowned Center for Yoga in 1967 and has extensive background in health, science and philosophy with teaching experience spanning 40 years.

Ganga studied and lived in India, visiting remote monasteries and learning centers. He teaches internationally and has trained hundreds of yoga teachers. He founded Yoga centers in major US cities and for five years served as vice-president of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Society.

He has received the teaching title Yoga Acharya three times from the Sivananda Ashram, the Yoga Vedanta Forest University, Rishikesh, Himalayas and the Yoga Niketan in India. He has aquired years of personal study with many great teachers including Swami Venkatesananda, J. Krishnamurti, BKS Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois.

Tracey Rich has been studying and teaching nationally since 1978, training teachers as well as students. Her background in Yoga includes study with K. Pattabhi Jois of the Astanga Vinyasa tradition, Yogiraj Ganga White, Yogini June LaSalvia, Joel Kramer and J. Krishnamurti.

Her backgound also includes writing, dance, health and philosophy. She draws her teaching methods from all of these areas creating a synthesis of experience and hoping to inspire self-expression in the student, giving them the the tools to develop well being and awareness in their lives. Tracey is holder of the Yoga Acharya degree.
