Total Yoga: Water is the second session in the Flow Series. Taught by
Ganga White and Tracey Rich, internationally renowned yoga teachers and founders
of the White Lotus Foundation, Water is a balanced intermediate practice of
over twenty poses, suitable for all levels.
Like its name, Total Yoga's Water session is all about fluidity and power.
Featuring the graceful Hatha Vinyasa method, it includes a broad complement
of standing, seated and inverted yoga postures,
all arranged in flowing sequences designed to reduces stress, soothing the mind,
body and spirit.
Although it's more challenging than Earth's yoga postures, Water is appropriate
for students of any level who want to improve strength and muscle tone, while
developing more flexibility, stamina, refinement and peace of mind.

Ganga
White is president of the White Lotus Foundation and is recognized as one
of the outstanding teachers and exponents of Yoga. He founded the nationally
renowned Center for Yoga in 1967 and has extensive background in health, science
and philosophy with teaching experience spanning 40 years.
Ganga studied and lived in India, visiting remote monasteries and learning
centers. He teaches internationally and has trained hundreds of yoga teachers.
He founded Yoga centers in major US cities and for five years served as vice-president
of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Society.
He has received the teaching title Yoga Acharya three times from the Sivananda
Ashram, the Yoga Vedanta Forest University, Rishikesh, Himalayas and the Yoga
Niketan in India. He has aquired years of personal study with many great teachers
including Swami Venkatesananda, J. Krishnamurti, BKS Iyengar and K. Pattabhi
Jois.
Tracey Rich has been studying and teaching nationally since 1978, training
teachers as well as students. Her background in Yoga includes study with K.
Pattabhi Jois of the Astanga Vinyasa tradition, Yogiraj Ganga White, Yogini
June LaSalvia, Joel Kramer and J. Krishnamurti.
Her backgound also includes writing, dance, health and philosophy. She draws
her teaching methods from all of these areas creating a synthesis of experience
and hoping to inspire self-expression in the student, giving them the the tools
to develop well being and awareness in their lives. Tracey is holder of the
Yoga Acharya degree.
